If you like the sun, hot weather and golden beaches, Malta will be the best country to go to. Obviously Malta is not very big, but there are a lot of things to see like Mosta Church, the great Dingli Cliffs or Blue Grotto. Of course you can also visit the sister islands of Gozo and Comino.
Twice we went to do a "treasure hunt". At the beginning it was sort of a strange feeling to ask the locals about their home towns of Valletta and Mdina but after a few minutes it turned out to be pretty good fun.
Besides our activities together we also could be on our own or with our host families. As they were always friendly and helpful, we liked having breakfast and dinner with them a lot.
The language classes in the morning were also great fun; we even played games like drawing and guessing words. Once we did a presentation about Austria, which our teacher was particularly interested in.
In the evenings we could choose among going out to Paceville, shopping, watching a film or just meeting friends on the beach.
Whatever we did - it was always great!
