Ein englischer Kurzbericht der 3B
Today Lisa, who is our new language assistant, came to our class.
Lisa is from the United States of America, to be more precise she comes from Philadelphia, which is the largest city of Pennsylvania. At the moment she is living in Linz.
Her favourite colours are blue and green. She has got three brothers. Her youngest brother, who is as old as we are, plays Minecraft. That’s a game which many of us like a lot.
She does yoga, she likes running and she played soccer, when she was younger.
She told us lots of things about the United States:
One thing she talked about was the Declaration of Indepence, which is an important part of the US American history.
She also told us about the US American flag which has got 50 stars and 13 stripes. Do you know that the 50 stars stand for the 50 states and the 13 stripes for the thirteen original colonies and that its colours blue, white and red stand for justice, purity and courage?
During her presentation she showed us a picture of the Statue of Liberty, which has a torch in her right hand and a book in her left hand.
We hope, she’ll join us again.
